Our Meisner Weekend Workshop offers an immersive introduction to the training, philosophy and community at the heart of this Studio’s professional acting program.

You won’t simply hear about the Meisner Technique—you’ll experience it.

Through discovery, improvisation and specially selected exercises, you will explore the fundamentals of Meisner training alongside physical movement and vocal work—the three integral components of our professional core program.

You will observe. You will work. You will be challenged.

Expand your imagination. Strengthen your creative instincts. Discover greater truth, freedom and spontaneity in your work while gaining a firsthand understanding of Sanford Meisner’s principles and the passion, discipline and dedication behind the training at this Studio.

Whether you are new to Meisner, returning to the work, or considering professional actor training, this weekend offers a concentrated introduction to the work and what serious training demands.

For those ready to continue, the Workshop also provides a strong foundation for Meisner 1 starting in the Fall.
